For the crepes:
- 500 ml milk
- 200 g flour
- 3 eggs
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 50 g melted butter
For the cream:
- 500 ml heavy cream (33%)
- 200 g powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Preparation:
- Prepare the crepe batter: In a bowl, mix the eggs, sugar, and salt. Add the milk and flour, whisking until smooth. Pour in the melted butter and mix again.
- Heat a skillet and cook thin crepes, frying on both sides until golden brown. Let the crepes cool.
- Prepare the cream: Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
- On a flat plate, place the first crepe and spread a layer of cream. Repeat the process, alternating crepes and cream, until all ingredients are used.
- Spread the remaining cream on the top crepe and sides of the cake.
- Refrigerate the cake for a few hours to set, preferably overnight.
- Serve the cake chilled.
